Saturday the 16th of August saw the second cruise that Midnight-Racing has put on, and to say it was a hit would be a bit of an understatement. We held the event at Donington Park race track which is near both Leicester and Notts and although we wasn’t going to open the gates until 6pm, people started turning up just after 4pm!

Word had spread far and wide with people coming from as far down as Brighton and from as high up as Newcastle, even Revs and Max Power turned up to see what it was all about.

With the car parks and halls packed solid by 6pm we had queues of people signing up to have a go at some of our events. At 7 we opened up the track for ¼ mile racing, burnouts and donuts, and then a bit later we moved all that away for an hour and opened the track up for everyone to race around! Whilst all this was going on back in the halls we held the show and shine competition and for some reason a very popular miss wet t-shirt competition!

Unfortunately I was too busy during the cruise to take any pictures, so thanks to my sister Katy for these ones!
