hey i dunno if anybody has come acros this problem before like but recently my powersteering on my astra keeps coming on then going off,ive checked fluid but its toped up.bin told it might be the pump! ,hope not like cuz there expensive.could any body help like??

Could well be the pump, although if the fluid hasn't been changed for ages it might have gone thick and need replacing. If you have speed sensitive power steering then it could well be the relay acting up.

found out what is was in the end mate,the altinator had gone like so wasnt makin the pump work,bad thing was tho the car caought fire on me while drivin,somewere in the wire lome is shorted out cuz the altinator! was funny doe. thanks anyways mate cool.gif

Try counter steering, even the lightest of cars, without power steering . . . then do the same with a car that has power steering . . .

Seriously, think about the mods that you guys want to do before you do them.
